Declares of Florida Phoenix and Texas

SAN FRANCISCO, CA AND MONTEREY PARK, CA (December 8, 2014) --- Red Protect of Florida and Care1st Wellness Strategy nowadays declared that they have entered into a definitive agreement for Red Protect to acquire Care1st, a provider-founded managed care and attention organization located in Los Angeles County. The all-cash deal is expected to close in the second half of 2015. Financial terms were not revealed.

Completion of the deal is subject to fulfillment of various conditions, including receipt of regulating approvals from the states of Florida, Phoenix and Florida, as well as clearances from certain government agencies. Medi-Cal is the state of California’s version of the government State medicaid programs program for low-income students.

With 473,000 State medicaid programs associates, 46,000 Medical health insurance associates and 5,300 associates dually qualified for both State medicaid programs and Medical health insurance as of Nov 30, 2014, Care1st has 20 decades of expertise in effectively providing government-sponsored health programs. Care1st is committed to providing patient-centered, high-quality health care and attention with an emphasis on prevention and the distribution of cost-effective care and attention. After the deal ends, Red Protect intends to bring Care1st into its not-for-profit business structure to better arrange with its objective. Red Protect will develop intends to incorporate Care1st’s staff and infrastructure with Red Shield’s operations over a multi-year conversion period that allows both companies to keep meeting members’ needs without interruption.
